I take care of a severely disabled adult who weighs 195 lbs, and am not always able to take a full size wheelchair with me. The back of this chair folds down, and I am able to put it in my car standing up. (Chevy HHR) If you have to lay it down, there is still plenty of room. The chair is light, but very sturdy. The detachable footrests are decent, and have straps on the rear of them to help keep the feet in place. The chair comes with a seat belt, which works ok once it's adjusted. Overall, this chair is a great value for the money.
