I use an average width chair and it was too small by like and inch. You must have the classic square arm shape for your chair too for this to work. It's was warped to start with and is very flimsy It doesn't have the strength to hold up itself even. You can't mount it down by your knees either. I returned it in the exact same box, and packaging and they tried to say I returned it damaged and charged me for it. Thankfully Amazon themselves was able to see they were incorrect and refunded me again. Beware purchasing, I would recommend avoiding this.
