I looked at several threshold options to include one that was embedded into the tile and another that was glued onto the surface tile. This surface threshold that was able to be cut with a hacksaw to fit precisely, sealed with adhesive caulking and screwed into the tile was the perfect option. I Read some confused customer reviews about the rubber seal installation after being screwed onto the tile. The rubber seal is flexible and simply fits into the grooves along the threshold covering the exposed screw heads.
